Featured English School in UK - Colchester English Study Center

Colchester English Study Centre was opened in 1969 by the publisher Oxford University Press as a school of English for Specific Purposes. Since then, it has gained an international reputation for excellence in all the English language courses that it organises. The school is well-known for the high standards of service offered to its students and partner agencies throughout the world. It remains the only all-year English language school in Colchester, and all of its courses are accredited by the British Council. It is an official centre for the University of Cambridge ESOL examinations and for the IELTS examination.
In 1988 the school opened its partner organisation International Language Holidays, which provides summer junior courses in the region. These are also accredited by the British Council.
The Town - Colchester, Essex, UK

Colchester is England's oldest town. Located in the beautiful Essex countryside, it is only 20 minutes from the sea and only 45 minutes by train from the centre of London.
Colchester was the first Roman city in England. A thousand years later, William the Conqueror built a castle on the site of the Roman temple. Colchester was also the site of the famous battle between the warrior queen Boudica and the Romans (AD 61), and of a major siege in the English Civil War (1648).
Colchester English Study Centre is only 5 minutes' walk from the town centre, where there is a shopping centre, as well as boutiques and cafes. There is also the Mercury Theatre, the Odeon six-screen cinema, and the University of Essex theatre. The town also has a large number of modern sports centres and an exciting night life. There is also the famous Colchester Zoo.
